Koenigsegg CCR![]() Koenigsegg CCR was produced by Swedish auto manufacturer Koenigsegg Automotive. Supercar's glory continued through 2005 when it achieved a new official production road car speed record of 388 km/h at Italy's Nardo Track. The Koenigsegg CCR has all the features of the "CC8S" model except more powerful engine, a new air-intake design, adjusted rear appearance. The 2-door rear wheel driver roadster was improved by installing twin-screw supercharger, that generates a higher pressure at lower rpm, and titanium exhaust system, which enables "CCR" to boost the engine power up to 806 hp. Ventilated 362 mm x 32 mm disc brakes with 6 piston callipers manages to stop the car running at 100 km/h in the distance of 31 metres. Koenigsegg CCR is the first auto with horsepower gauge installed. The Koenigsegg runs on 19" at the front and 20" at the rear alloy wheels. The vehicle dimensions are 4190 mm/1990 mm/1070 mm (Length/Width/Height). The "CCR" is equipped with new shock absorbers, having the advantage of better conformance and lower weight. The response of vehicle is amazing because of it's perfectly designed aerodynamics. V8 Supercharged 4.7 litre engine and 6-speed transmission empowers Koenigsegg CCR to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just 3.2 seconds. The cam covers are made from carbon fibre as well as the "CCR" body (curb weights 1180 kg). Then there's a torque - 920 Nm is reached at 5700 rpm and the redline crosses at 7600 rpm. Driving such a supercar like Koenigsegg CCR you can safely tell your opponent - "Eat my dust". Koenigsegg CCR video links: |
